I have always wondered why ladies tend to go lingerie shopping right about when they are starting a new relationship or meeting a partner. What’s wrong with wearing something nice and sexy underneath your clothes without having a special occasion in mind? I wonder.
When I was a teenager, I had this really beautiful aunt, a real stunner; she had tons of admirers and ladies around the neighbourhood loved her great sense of fashion, and of course, there was a flock of male admirers as well. I was just a teenage cousin who loved her sense of style. I never understood her choice of undergarments, she had really ugly granny panties and when I asked her why she wore such horrible undergarments, she told me that no one sees them anyway so it didn’t really matter. I never really understood that logic; needless to say she once found herself in a very uncomfortable situation. Many ladies are guilty of this fashion Faux pas as we call it. If today were declared a day for unexpected underwear inspections, you may be shocked at what you would find underneath the lovely clothes most ladies have on.
The famous fashion designer, Christian Dior once said, “Real elegance is everywhere, especially in the things that don’t show”. I totally agree with that. I have always been of the school of thought that if we really believe that fashion is a form of self-expression, what we wear should be a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. What message are we really passing with the “things that don’t show”? What are you really saying when you wear unattractive underwear and save up all your lovely lingerie for a “Special Occasion”? Are you saying that your days are not worthy of those fine lingerie, or that you exist to please others?
Basically, we have to understand that every day of our life is a special occasion, so don’t save something for a special occasion; Always wear your best Lingerie; life is too short to leave it for a special occasion.
Now that I’m done preaching, I know some of us still need a little push and encouragement to fish out that sexy lingerie, so here’s what I found on ravishly to give you some motivation: Here are some reasons to always wear lovely lingerie.
What you wear affects your confidence and self-esteem
Always remember that your first goal is to impress yourself. When you impress yourself, you’ll automatically impress others. Experts found that wearing a Superman T-shirt underclothes made wearers feel more confident; this can translate to the bras and panties you have underneath your clothes. When a woman wears lovely undies on a daily basis, she always feels beautiful and confident. Don’t believe me? Try it out.
Pretty underthings make you feel feminine
We live in such a masculine world, so even if you have to show that side of yourself at work (suits, slacks, jackets, etc.), wearing lovely lingerie underneath lets you embrace the power of femininity. I know it isn’t as smoothing as those T-shirt bras, but there’s something magical about a lacy bra that makes you feel feminine and sexy. When you feel feminine, you tap into that magnetic feminine power of yours (and others will pick up on that radiated sexual confidence, girl).
Claiming your “feminine power” is really about owning your “personal power”
Choosing to wear panties that match your bra is a secret that only you know yet makes you feel powerful. Why? Underwear is what we wear closest to our skin, so choosing what feels beautiful sends a signal to your brain that you deserve beauty in your life. Wearing lovely lingerie underneath lets you embrace (and balance) your feminine energy. And a woman who owns both sides of her power and energy is a force to be reckoned with.
If you can’t stand the thought of lacey undies, matching a basic black or nude bra to basic black or nude panties is just as powerful and sexy as lacy underwear. Just give it a try. I’ll bet you notice the difference in how you feel.
