Improving Health, controlling weight and Clearing Complexion
So many of us live our lives constantly searching for health tips that will serve as preventive measures for what I would like to call “household illnesses” such as common head or body aches when in fact the solution may just be right in front of us.
Sometimes, we feel overwhelmingly tired and achy with brain fag and blotchy skin. We even get disturbed about our weight; a common pain point for women which drives us to spend large sums of money for supplements and gym sessions all to no benefit.
Dehydration may cause more harm than we think it does but most times we tend to ignore the obvious consequences and refuse to stay hydrated all the time. Having established that fact, it begs the question: Are you taking enough water?
If you automatically assume you’re drinking enough water without being intentional about how much you drink, then you probably aren’t. Counting coffee, tea, fruit juice and fizzy drinks as a good water replacement because they made with water, is also a mistake!
On the other hand, if you feel great all the time, have lots of energy, are thirsty, and pee often- very light colored or clear pee- then you might actually be getting enough water.
If you are tired, have headaches, digestive issues, muscles aches and pains, trouble sleeping, or dull/dry skin, you probably aren’t getting enough water and as such, water should be the first thing you turn to for health improvement.
You may want to do a quick assessment by dividing your weight (pounds) in two to get your minimum water intake. That reveals how much water you should be taking daily (minimum).
Why Should you start drinking more water?

Regular intake of water in the right proportion, aids in digestion as water is essential to digest your food and prevents constipation.

A water guzzler is less likely to get sick. Such a person is not likely to face frequent health challenges. Drinking plenty of water helps the fight against flu, cancer and other ailments like heart attacks.
- Natural Headache Remedy
It helps relieve and prevent headaches (migraines & back pains too!) which are commonly caused by dehydration.

Proper hydration helps keep joints lubricated and muscles more elastic so joint pain is less likely.
- Puts You in A Good Mood
When the body is functioning at its best, you will feel great and be happy!
- Saves Money!
Water is FREE! At least most of the time. Purchasing water comes at a relatively cheap rate which makes it even easier to consume compared to fizzy drinks.
Things you can do develop a good water habit.
- Take water with you, wherever you go to.
- Set a time on your phone for every hour. Drink some water when the reminder goes off
