Ms Luisa Fernanda Lafaurie Rivera is an Independent Consultant in management, formulation and implementation of financial and corporate strategy.
Ms Rivera served as Head of the Europe Department, Europe-Center Regional Coordinator and Sales Director of Carbones de Colombia S.A. – CARBOCOL. She has occupied several positions in the public and private sectors such as Minister and Vice-minister of Mines and Energy; independent consultant; Financial and Commercial Advisor to Scudder Kemper Termotasajero and Parsons de Colombia.
She has been Independent Director of Aerovías del Continente Americano S.A, Avianca since March 25, 2014. She serves as a Member of the Boards of Directors at OCENSA S.A., Oleoducto Central de Colombia S.A. ECOPETROL, ISA, ECOGAS, ISAGEN, MINERCOL and INGEOMINAS. She served as Independent Director of Constructora Conconcreto S.A. She served as an Independent Director of Almacenes Éxito S.A. since March 16, 2012.
She also served as a Director of CTEEP – Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista, and as an Independent Director at Interconexión Eléctrica S.A. E.S.P.
She is a graduate of the School of Economics of Universidad Javeriana, Ms Rivera has an MBA and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Universidad de Los Andes where she also attended a Top Management course.
